Designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido in 2001 Flamingos Golf is found in one of the most beautiful enclaves in the Costa del Sol. With breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar and Africa it makes for a special experience. It offers an exiting challenge with the varied design of ample but tiered greens with undulating fairways that will challenge the most discerning golfer. The stream "Arroyo del Taraje" passes through Flamingos Golf Club and ends into a lake which constitutes a natural border for the course at tees 1 and 10. The vegetation has been taken into consideration right down to the smallest detail and each hole is defined by its own trees. The most demanding golfer will find himself among cypresses, orange, olive and pine trees, carob, chestnut and pomegranate trees. The course has a mixture of long and short holes with the bunkers filled with ground marble. You can walk the course but also take in the beautiful scenery during shots!
