The North course (La Cala Norte) Campo America was opened in 1992 and with its sister course has proved a must for the golfing fraternity. The course is a challenge for all standards but as with the South course accuracy is key. The fairways and greens are always in immaculate condition but watch out for the ravines and water as well as the white graveled bunkers that are a feature. Among the highlights are various elevated greens, American style, which require precision, and with inclined fairways make this course ideal for top competitions. The new third course "Campo Europa" with comments from course designer, Cabell B. Robinson stresses the advantages of the new course for the average golfer: "The new course is not only dramatic but will also be easier for the average golfer. The fairways are generous from the tees and the greens are slightly larger than on the existing courses." Buggy Information:
Buggy cost: 38€ (high season)
Hand Cart: 5€ Course Summary: North Par 73, South 72 Designed by Cabell B. Robinson and opened in 1990 the South course (La Cala Sur) Campo Asia is always in immaculate condition. The course extends over sloping and spectacular terrain, featuring incredible views, especially at the sixth; a dogleg highlighted by a water hazard and elevated green. Accuracy is the order of the day and although the fairways are wide and the greens are large, you will find the sloping terrain will punish any shots not on target. The course is a challenge and enjoyable to play with some of the holes being very testing with lakes and ravines to cross.
